Step 1: RL loads her containers into the trolley

Apart from the recycling benefits, this can be more hygienic. have you ever stopped to think what might have been in the trolley before you picked it up. It's probably best not to think of what might have been on the shoes of the children riding in the trolley.

Step 2: She takes the trolley to the till in the normal way

Step 3: The goods are unloaded at the till as normal, leaving the containers in the trolley

Step 4: The goods are loaded back into the containers in the trolley

No carrier bags and no rush. It’s so easy to do!

Step 5: The unwanted rubbish is placed into carrier bags

The packaging is sorted into separate carrier bags, one for plastic and the other cardboard.

Step 6: The bags are handed over to the store staff

They will ensure the waste packaging is recycled correctly.
